About CarlBerk

CarlBerk Consulting Company and its Shanghai CarlBerk Laboratory were founded by a group of enthusiastic Ph.D.s and scientists from prestigious universities and research institutes. Our goal is to provide multidisciplinary material analysis, technical consulting and R&D supporting services to fully support our clients in their efforts of achieving high quality and reliable products.

Unlike most industry-based testing labs, we are not wedded to defined SOPs but rely on logical and insightful thinking. We utilize versatile state-of-the-art scientific tools, design new methods and modify existing test gigs to provide tailored analytical engineering support and in-depth failure analysis with short turn-around.

We firmly believe that it is the talents not the tools that define the level of service a firm provides. We only recruit the brightest talents and experts in their field on board when serving our clients. All our partner-track consultants have doctorate degree from top-notch graduate schools. Many of them have proven competence in National Physics/Chemistry Olympiad competition and accomplishments in business/entrepreneurship contests.

In addition, we collaborate with prestigious research institutes and leading analytical tool manufacturers (e.g. Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, TA Instruments, and Thermal Fisher Scientific, etc.) in their areas of specialties to bring in deep, functional expertise and comprehensive solutions.

With our local office strategically set up in Shanghai Hongqiao CBD, we ensures fast reaction to international clients' projects at their local contract manufacturers. At the same time, we are dedicated to support local Chinese companies’ engineering activities in advanced manufacturing technology and help them to compete better internationally.
